Not only a luxury division of the prolific Honda, but Acura is also Japan’s first automotive luxury brand. The introduction of the NSX back in 1990 came as a direct competition to European exotic sports cars with the advantage of superior reliability and practicality.

At the same time, VTEC variable valve timing system was included in the NSX which aimed at improving volumetric efficiency of its engine. Notable Model

A 2019 used Acura MDX is a mid-sized three rows crossover luxury SUV that come in hybrids as well. Its roomy interior, full range electronics and sensor capabilities as well as redesigned headlamps with automatic high beam.

As the MDX grew in size and price, a demand for compact crossover luxury SUV was filled by the Acura RDX which became Acura’s entry level SUV. It used the same platform as Honda’s Civic and CR-V passenger cars and finally getting its own on its third generation.
